Race For Equal Justice

The Race for Equal Justice 5k will return on October 17, 2026!

The 2026 Race for Equal Justice will be a 5k (3.1-mile) run at Roosevelt Island. Participants are welcome to take the course at their own pace: sprint, jog, or walk the course! After the 5k, there will be a raffle entry and food!

All law student participants will receive 350 Lexis points. Additionally, we have exciting raffle prizes donated by local businesses and larger corporations.

Represent your Inn or Student Organization! This year, we are encouraging people to run representing their Inn or Student Organization for a friendly competition! The top three teams with the fastest top three runners will get a shoutout at the conclusion of the fundraiser. Every team member of the top three teams will receive one EXTRA raffle entry.

Registration will close at 12PM on Friday, October 16th! There will be NO day-of-race registration or shirt sales due to National Park Service rules. Since we do not hold registration fees, we cannot offer refunds for this charity event. The race will be held rain or shine!
